A New Chapter for JHMES
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
After many meaningful years supporting academic writers and researchers through JHMES, I’m writing to share a transition that’s both exciting and deeply aligned with my long-term vision.
As I step more fully into my role at Sofia University—where I’m now working nearly full-time—I will no longer be taking on new clients through JHMES. I continue to support a select group of current clients, and I remain wholeheartedly dedicated to their work as we complete our projects together.
This shift allows me to focus on new creative and professional endeavors, including my upcoming book, Shadow Work for the Soul: A Trauma-Informed Guide to Working Safely with the Unconscious, and my research-based project Meaningful Grief, which explores the phenomenology of synchronicity in bereavement. Both works reflect the heart of my practice: integrating depth psychology, spiritual inquiry, and compassionate support for transformation.
I’m also now certified in Motivational Interviewing, which I plan to incorporate into my work with dissertation students and adult learners, helping them reconnect with their motivation and voice.
Thank you for being part of the journey so far. I’m deeply grateful.
Warmly,
Dr. Jennifer Hill
